About Us.
We are located in the heart of the Ozarks in Missouri. I have been hunting and training coon hounds for 20 years. It all started when a friend of mine asked if I wanted to go coon hunting with him and his dad. I was hooked the first time out. I love the long bawl of a hound on track in the night air. I can't explain what keeps me out night after night working those dogs but I don't want to stop. Not today, Not ever. I would be lost without it and the joy it brings. I have started and finished some very nice dogs and I am proud to have been a part of each of them. I no longer train for the public but will be happy to talk hounds and training any time. I got my first English hound in 1993 and he was what started my love for the breed. I have 9, yes 9 children, and some of them hunt and some of them hate dogs. It is because of them and Jesus Christ I am able to stay in the woods. I have had some good times and some bad, but every challenge brings its own rewards. We strive to make a better hound. It has been tried and true, time and time again, breed a coon dog to a coon dog and you have a good chance of getting coon dogs.
I got my first American bulldog as a family pet as a child. I had them off and on ever since. In 2009 I brought Fatty into my home. He was an amazing family pet and in May of 2012 the home my children were in caught fire and was engulfed in a matter of minutes. He gave his life to save five others, he alerted the babysitter by tearing through the bedroom door. While she was getting the the children out he did not know that the youngest was already out and did not want to leave the door to his room and that is where he was found after the fire was put out. He touched many lives and this is what made me decide to raise Bulldogs. We also want to say thanks to our troops and veterans. God bless the brave men and women who keep us free, so that we can continue to enjoy this great sport.
